Why this book?  Why now? The urgent answer came to me in an interview with a wonderful financial advisor almost five years ago.  She asked three powerful questions:
1) If you had all the money you needed to live comfortably the rest of your life, what would you change in your life now? (Suggestion:  Take a few days to write the answer, before reading the next two items).

  1. I have thought carefully about this for a long time, which is why I quit my job last summer to finish college and get my Art/Education degrees in order to teach in the public school system.

If I had plenty of money, I would still do the same thing. If I was going to die, I would still do the same thing. (Just in case I didn’t die, those doctors aren’t always right!) I love learning and being in the classroom. I can’t wait to be a teacher. I will always be a student.

  2. If money was not an issue in my life..hmmm.I would have more choices in my life, as well as my loved ones. I will have a lot of money at some point because I am willing to work hard but it will be the changes inside that will be more important to me. My beliefs that have to change to follow my dreams and take action on them and do the footwoork. How exciting is that? Money is just a vehicle to help others and help your family…it’s the journey of it all…not the destination.

    • You are so wise, Casey! I miss your physical presence but relish words from you.

      Peace, Joann Malone
